The Langley Rams always look forward to welcoming out of town players into our program. These players come to us looking to pursue a future in football and while they are here, we take pride in finding them a place to call home as well as watch and help guide them as they grow as strong individuals on and off the field.

The Rams require assistance housing these players and are seeking both room rentals and billet families.

BILLET FAMILIES

Billet families are encouraged to welcome these young players into their homes and act as though they are gaining a new family member. Treat them as you would your own children and make them responsible for following the rules of your home. Be sure these rules have been made clear and established as early as possible.

Billet families are not required but encouraged to help the player arrange rides to games, practices, work and any other responsibility or commitment they have while they are here.

This can be a very rewarding experience while you help guide these players who come to us with tremendous potential as they pursue their next chapter as a University athlete and/ or, professional football opportunities. Our hopes for the family and the player is that this relationship will last long after the players Rams career has come to an end.

As our players range from the age of 17-22, the expectation is that billet families will provide the players with an experience that compares to how they would be treated in their own family’s home and the players will follow the rules and expectations defined by the billet family.

RENTALS

Rentals Include renting a house, apartment, or room and will include internet as well as a provided space to cook meals and do laundry. If this is a shared space, the players will be given a designated time that they can use the kitchen and laundry.

Players will be responsible for cost of food and laundry detergent as well as preparing their own meals unless however, you choose to and agree on including meals and supplies for an additional cost.

Players who are renting are responsible for arranging their own rides to games, practices, work and any other responsibility or commitment they have while they are here.

Players are expected to be exceptional tenants at all times and are expected to follow to team code of conduct, house rules and team curfews as applicable.

Our athletes will pay for their room rentals/ billet fees and the Rams will provide all billet families with season tickets, including playoff games.

Please advise your Player on any visitor restrictions your family has. Billets should not feel responsible to provide accommodations for players’ family and friends when they are in town.
